FS 2004 bottom half of screen black

Postby dakes » Thu Sep 01, 2005 4:22 pm

Hi there

I wonder if anyone can help me please  ???

I can play fs2004 but when in cockpit view the bottom half of the screen is black if I hover over the black the labels come up for the different dials/controls but i cant see them. Also the graphics are distorted. Some time ago I had the same problem which I resolved by installing a driver for my graphics card - the site was recommended by a forum. The problem is I have done a system recovery and lost it and can't remember what it was called or where from.
Has anyone experienced this? and can anyone suggest how I can resolve it
Thanks very much

Have you tried taking your mouse near the "EDGE" of where the black meats the panel and "pulling" it down like you would a "window" on your desktop?

Maybe by accident you accidental grabbed the edge and pulled it up while adjusting a control therefore "shrinking" the 2D panel.

Just a shot but I know I have done that in the past.

Just to add to what Fly2e said,

If that does not work, possibly you may have a corupt panel in that aircraft. Does this happen in all your aircraft?
