Help! F/A-18 AB won't work

Just downloaded the otherwise excellent F/A-18C by K. Virtanen. Installed it as usual: copied the F/A-18C folder into the FS9 Aircraft folder, dumped the content of Effects folder into the FS9 Effects folder, & the content of Gauges folder (wihtou opening the T38COF_FX folder) into FS9 Gauges folder. Took the jet to Moffet Field, hit full throttle, & lo behold! No AB flames coming out of those F404-GE-402.
Tried the Concorde gauges & the panel patch, but nothing helps. What did I do wrong? Is the AB activated by throttle or not?

Try Using shift + F4 and see if that works.  I believe you have to be above 90% throttle in order for the afterburner to kick in. I do not have that particular plane but it works in a few others I have.
