It's about a year from now.

Good for us since we have plenty of time to upgrade and prepare for some frame-rate-sucking graphics of FSX. ;D

Well, I sure hope they won't be "frame-rate sucking".

I think Microsoft makes a lot of money with FS, so I don't think they will cancel it. Just wait, it'll come.

Crash ;)

FS hasn't been pushed back.  You can't push something back when you haven't even announced a release date yet...  ::)

I've said it a thousand times before, I'll say it a thousand more.

M$ WILL NOT ABAONDON FS!

It is a lucrative genre (well, for them it is) that THEY have a monopoly on.  They make money, a LOT of it, off these games.  This may mean they'll really only release a second MFSF2004, but one way or the other, they will continue to release FS games.

I am with Beefhole. Nobody knows anything for definate - but if you owned a buisness like MS and you sold 100 million copies or whatever it is of a particular series over the last 7 years would you not think of investing in a latest edition - knowing that you'd be guarenteed not only to sell countless millions of copies, but that people WILL update their computers at the same time. This latter part really brings in bucks and is one good reason alone for MS bringing out another FS version.

I am of the opinion it will come with the new operating system.
