Can you fly a heli?

Postby Dan » Tue Aug 09, 2005 11:12 am

By being able to fly it I mean never miss a landing, and always doing it where you want to!

And by learning I mean actually really trying, so yuo will succedd!

Can you? Everyone seems to make it sound like a bacl art, I tghinks its great!

i have everything down except landing, which usually ends crashing or slew mode.

i've only perfected 1 landing. and i forgot how i did it.

I can fly the Robinson, but it takes so much concentration that it isn't even fun. The jet ranger is nothing more than a spinning crash machine when I try to fly it.

Well, I can hover and fly fine, nice and smooth, but I can't land too well, but I'm always on target-so I'll say yes ;)

I am better at landing wheel geared helos (not as much panic when landing) but I can fly them alright.

I would hate to see my blood pressure when flying one though as it definately requires focus ALL of the time for me.

I can fly one of these easily. It's actually kinda fun until you have to land. :P I have landed in one of these about 10 times, and i only got about 3 of the landings perfect. All the other 'landings' I have tried I crashed.

Can I fly a Helicopter...?

...NO!.... ;)...!
...Definately NO...!

Daft idea sticking the propeller on top of the fuselage instead of on the pointy bit at the front... ;D...!

I like to be pulled along, reasonably level with the ground, rather than being spun round in ever-decreasing circles and finally  flung into outer space with little or no input from me... :o...!

It doesn't work in the flight sim...and it doesn't work at my local airfield either...(judging by the soiled flying suits).. ;D...!
LOL...!

Cheers normal pilots... ;)...!

Paul The Cessna Man... ;D...!

Yes; but I cheat a bit. I add just a little to the inertia values in the .cfg file - makes it a bit more docile. ;D
