737NG by moach!!

Postby andrewgeorge60 » Sun Aug 21, 2005 7:58 am

Hi all, i was wondering if anyone could help me, i recently downloaded the 737 by moach and then the add on pack that contained three new liveries, there was easyjet , bmi, and southwest.

I followed the instructions, but only the southwest one works!!!

If i try the ezy one or the bmi one it says "aircraft initialization failure"

Any ideas would help, thanks

Andy

...hmmm....maybe if you said just where you got the plane and which zip contains those textures and where you got it someone could help......meanwhile check out the names if the texture folders that they match with the aircraft cfg..........quite often this is just a typo of some sort...commoner ;)

open the aircraft.cfg file and look for the [fltsimX] sections...
find the ones that regard those liveries and check if there isn't anything wrong there...

for instance, see if the model line does point to a valid model folder (if the folder is model.v11, the line should read model=v11)

see if the aircraft title is not the same as any other section

also check if the sim line does point to the aircraft.cfg file... if there is a typo, you will get that error message

i also had some problems when i installed the expansion pack... the thing is that there are more than one versions of the 737 experience (the latest is 1.2)...

you said that the southwest shamu livery works so i assume you have the winglets model which came with 1.2... so one of these suggestions should work

if nothing works, you can post the [fltsim] sections here... also post the name of your 737 experience folders (texture, model)... i'll try to figure out what's wrong

Moach

PS oh, and thanks for downlading the 737 Experience ;D
