AHHHH HELP!!!!

Postby kingmarktheaviator » Sat Aug 20, 2005 7:00 am

I was de-cluttering my hard drive an a vague attempt to make FS9 run faster, and i thought I should delete a few files in the FS9 root folder.  I cant remember what i deleted but i obviously deleted something i shouldnt have because now when i startup my FS9 a "Error Report" dialogue box comes up with the options of dont send error report or send report.  Anyway what could i have deleted in the main FS9 folder that would make it come up with that?  I can't reinstall because I don't have the CD's at the moment as a friend is borrowing it off of me to install, which is annoying because i want to fly!
Cheers in advance

If the stuff was still in the recycle bin then i could restore it yes, however the idea was that i would de-clutter the PC which involves emptying the recycle bin.  If nobody has any ideas then i guess I will have to get the discs back.  Ah well.

kingmarktheaviator,

Sorry to have to say this........  but offering that copy of the program is illegal.  What you should do is go out and buy a new copy to fix your own problem and bring yourself back to OK.

best,

Yep just done that, i went down to the town and bought a new copy.  Thankfully I had the money to do it and the problem is now fixed.  I was missing a couple of .dll files.
