I hope the insurance company [if you have insurance] believes your claim about the car.

Is that a freakin Ferrari? I'm making one for FS9 and all of a sudden I am seeing one wrecked up. I hope that is not a bad omen. :-X

This was the other end:

Fortunately it wasn't my car.

As far as I'm concerned I can't wait for FS10, as crash said a lot of FS9 a/C will be compatible with FS10 and freeware developers willl turn to FS10 the moment it comes out, also as long as there are no 'pieces of ART' out there FS9 can continued to be played :) ;)
cheers

If they (MS) were smart, key word, IF...than the acft will be work backwards.  If not, well, in all the simplist language possible...they are retarded.

It isnt just the matter of the look of the acft, but the fact that it will be such an aide to the community in keeping addicts addicted. If what you fly in FS9 works, of course you are going to go out and get FS10 and be able to use all the upgrades with the acft you've loved flying for the past 3 years. If not...well they might suffer in the begining with people less hesitant to purchase it and not be able to fly those older acft.

My FS9 really doesnt handle much of my good ole FS2002 planes all that well to tell you the truth... I only hope that if it does come out, that my payware aircraft would at least work.  Better yet, i hope it will work on my computer  ;D

Im pretty sure that fs2006 is gonna be backwards compatable.  I mean, look at cfs3.  I'm sure ms will learn from their mistakes.  And, from what people have said (see kevin's oshkosh posts in photos) it will be backwards compatable.  So no need to worry

Personally what I think Microsoft should do is just release a huge patch that would cover many of our gripes. Things such as ground water effects, improoved AI / ATC, more realistic flight dynamics, better ground textures, better Airport textures, the list goes on. FS 2004 is a great game, so why replace it, why not just fix the problems. And since the patch whould be so big, why not charge lke $20 for the download, heck I'm sure even all of you who think payware is a waste of money would pay for this.

C'mon guys dont look for a new game, look for the same one that we have, only massavely improoved.

Cheers

Don't you think MS would make FS10 backwards compatible, so you can use FS9 aircraft. You can use some of the FS2002 planes in FS9 too so why not?

Crash ;)

Speaking of backwards compatibility, the plane in my sig was designed with FSFS for fs5.1. yes, you read that correctly, an FS5 aircraft is flying in FS9!

(actually, the screenshot is of fs2000).

Simple, i used fs2000 converter, then copy/pasted the plane into the fs2004 aircraft folder.
System Specs: HP 2000 Notebook PC; Windows 8.1 64-Bit; 4GB RAM; AMD E-300 APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~1.3 GHz; AMD Radeon HD 6310.
