Basically Alrot is saying that now that FS9 has now been out for a few years, the standard of freeware available (Like Milton Shupe's work) is simply amazing.

He is worried that when FS10 comes out, we will not be able to use the same freeware FS9 planes in FS10 & thus, all of the freeware designers will have to start from scratch again. This will mean that maybe for a period, the FS10 freeware planes won't be as good quality until the designers learn more about how FS10 operates.

We'll all be flying default planes, for a while at least.

Cheers,

TSC.

Hey Alrot,
You english isn't that bad. At least we know what you mean. And yes, I agree with you. We have to fly those darned defaults for a while when FS10 comes out...
Cheers,
Ashar ;)

Just to help, I have made a few changes to Alrot's post - the message is the same, but hopefully those of us from different nationalities will understand it easier.

No offence meant Alrot, I never have any difficulty with your posts - just trying to help out, thats all.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

No, no, I don't want the new FS2006, just when there are some people making great aircraft (For FS9) recently, time & patience has at last brought us some great aircraft. For example, the Trident, Tupolev, Posky...(By the way - make a good VC please ;)), Milton Shupe's work....All of these were made in the last 4 or 5 months...after waiting 3 years for some good or excellent add-on aircraft like the ones which are available now.... I can see the difference in Meljet's 777 & 747, you can almost touch them. They aren't simply models, for me they are pieces of ART.

Imagine a new FS2006 & i'm sure that FS9's (freeware) aircraft won't work in this new version (FS10) with (FS10) working differently. We will have to wait until the freeware designers develop (their skills) again & unravel the incoming secrets (of FS10).

Please, I would like to read somebody else's opinion. I hope the people from MICROSOFT read this, we want more planes, more realistic flying dynamics, but not to many changes (to the way FS10 operates with things like installing add-on aircraft).

Thanks.

I could said better in my hole life theysellcoke thanks buddy for reading my mind

Not a problem  :D

Why do you think FS2002, and earlier versions, have stayed around for long, even though FS2004 is available.  The same thing will no doubt happen to FS2004.

Don't you think MS would make FS10 backwards compatible, so you can use FS9 aircraft. You can use some of the FS2002 planes in FS9 too so why not?

Crash ;)

I spotted a post a few days ago which showed something about MS visiting SimV and other FS sites. They seem to be on the watch for ideas or something...
