When do you fly?

Postby DJ_Zephyr » Wed Aug 10, 2005 1:37 pm

Just wonderin' what time of day you guys take to the skies in FS!  I prefer morning hours, when there's plenty of daylight ahead and a beautiful sky to marvel at!

Sry if it's been posted!

whenever i feel like it, even if it's 1/2 hour, i'll take it. i'l sometimes set a flight from O'Hare to Paris, take off, ass soon as im over the ocean, i crash on the couch at about 1am, when it's about 5am, i'll wake up and make breakfast, and continue flying.

any and all times of the day & night.

When I can, I'll start early in the morning, flying as many as I can in one day-last weekend I needed to study and get some stuff done, so Saturday I flew KJFK-KMCO-TJSJ-KMCO, then Sunday I flew KMCO-KLGA-KPBI-KATL.

This is hard to answer. I usually fly in the afternoon/evening, but I set the time in the sim to late morning. All of my RL flying lessons are taken in the smooth early morning air. So my answer is: YES :P

Aww common, a little turbulent afternoon air never hurt anybody-not even me when I had to keep a heading in it for two hours! :D ::) ;D

Eh... seems to be a misunderstanding... I meant what SIM time do you fly in, not what RL time you play the game!  :P  Guess I shoulda been more specific!

In RL I fly mornings and evenings, especially now during the summer when the afternoons are just too glaringly hot to squeak CYT off the field.  So when I fly in FS2004, I usually stick to mornings and evenings as well - it's nice seeing even virtual sunrises and sunsets :).

I'll fly whenever i can, which is not often!
I usually fit in a quick short hop on my day off, (Today, Weds) or a Sunday... However, due to the impending birth of our 1st baby  ;D (Due 1st December) more important things have taken over my "spare" time! The last flight i did was over 3 weeks ago ...yet i can still find a few minutes a day to visit good ol' SimV..
