Military pilot needs a challenge!

Postby Ecko » Fri Aug 05, 2005 5:34 pm

Hey guys!

On sunday I'm going flying with one of my dads friends whos a pilot, and I'm really excited.  ;D

But before we head for the skys, I thought I'd give him a little FS challenge.  :D
The guy is an ex military chopper pilot, now he's an MD-81 captain for SAS, so he knows he's stuff!! 8)

So basicly I need some inspiration for the challenge! :)

I would prefer it being a difficult approach in a rather big airliner or cargo plane, or something like that!

But remember it's on sunday guys, so hurry up guys! ;)

Thanks..  ;)

Have him try the default Ryan NYP takeoff in FS9, with rain, wind, and a full fuel load... with no forward view, except the periscope!! That might amuse him... ;D
Or aerobatics in the Ford Trimotor... ;D !

Tell you what.

Load up FS Passangers (the free demo is fully activated, you just have to take off from San Francisco International),

Activate the "Dangerous Airports"

Set the destination to KCCR (I think that's it, it's a short hope from KSFO).

Set him up in a C-130 or some other transporter.

Let him fly into KCCR under fire.  I lost two engines (inside starboard, and outside port), my hydrolics (Thank god I got my gear down before that went out), lost my electronics, had my left main fuel cell ruptured, took a hit in the cockpit (lost a window), and started loosing oil pressure on my starboard outer engine.

Oh, I was also flying in a heavy thunderstorm.

Had to scrap the c-130, but I landed it with no casualties, and didn't crash.  Damn those birds are TOUGH!

That would give him a really kick!

If he's an ex chopper pilot have him fly the default Bell Jetranger with all realsim sliders at full. Even experienced chopper pilots say that's a challenge.
