hi.i just got fs 2004 and have some questions. how do you turn on the afterburner?is it on when you hold f3 to the max?is there anyway to give military jets a boost,like the afterburner?

Hi Newairpilot and Welcome to SimV!!
The default planes don't come with afterburners. Other add-ons made by other author's usually have the effect in them but sometimes they are just there for show, no boost or anything...To turn the afterburners on, the default key is Shift+F4

but will there be flames out of the 747's engines?
