The 25 july 1909 , Louis Bleriot have crossed the "Channel" with this aircraft....

"Louie has gone completely mad.  He wants to cross the channel in a kite."  Thus spoke Louie Bleriot's Mom just before the event, according to some PBS doc I saw awhile back.  

It's that kind of "madness" which moves us forward.  Thanks, Louie.

Loius Bleriot was French so maybe you should say Merci. ;)

It's pronounced Louie but spelled Louis.
