Cities with Fireworks?

Postby tennm1980 » Tue Jul 26, 2005 5:01 pm

bobholland.com says that Las Vegas and some "other cities" have fireworks if you set the date to Dec 31 and the time to just before midnight. Anyone know what these "other cities" are? thnx

Yeah - good fun. This is Vegas at midnight Dec 31, complete with sound effects and smoke after each explosion. It goes on for quite a while.

Some of the firework explosions are pretty big in diameter and in a helo, like I was, you can fly right into em. It's one of those things you HAVE to do in fs  :)

midnight local time or midnight GMT?

I assume local but just wanted to make sure as I get the two backwards quite often.

Local from what I've seen.  I sat in the Cessna 208 next to the cruise ship in New York gawking at the fireworks like a doofus for almost half an hour once!  They actually look pretty cool, and do have a bit of variety to them.

Does anyone have an idea of how the file could be modified so that the fireworks show up on other days of the year?  Such as July 4 here in the states?
