AS traffic

Postby Sytse » Mon Jul 25, 2005 1:30 pm

Hi there, lucky owners of FS 2004!
I was just wondering if the AI traffic in FS 2004 is really AI  Traffic and not AS (S for stupidity) Traffic like in FS 2002 where it just flies around like a headless err... 'something that can fly without it'. ???

So sorry to have to destroy your dreams but AI in FS9 behaves no more no less idiotically than in fs2002. Though not all fault is imputable to AI only, ATC is a great help in obtaining the most idiotic behaviour from the AI planes sometimes (like managing landing priorities). >:(

C'est la vie.

not that FS9 (FS2004) is bad, but it does have a few flaws. but where it lacks in that, it makes up in taxiway signs, detailed clouds, better trees, better ATC, traffic is now handled a bit better than it used to. if you dont want the mixups, dont have the traffic!

FS9 is still a good investment for another 3 or 4 months. still worth a buy, for $30 here in chicago!

ATC is deffinitly much better, but as I've started to fly in some of the more populated airports like New York, Los Angles and the like, the priority I have noticed does come up.
