More reaalistic atc?

Postby ThatOnePerson » Sat Jul 23, 2005 10:22 pm

Is there anything freeware or payware that would enhance fs9s atc,or is there a way to make it better within the program.I am just sick of the dull voices that atc has,im sure alot of you know what i mean :)Feedback will be greatly appreciated ;)

The only solution that I have heard of is to fly online with VATSIM.

Also install AI Smooth to help with the AI traffic "barging  in" when you are on final.

best,

Well when i was at work experience at RAF Shawbury Air Traffic control, they sounded a lot better than american ATC then....

Maybe its just me, but i get tired of the single choice of american drone in FS9...
No offense to anyone but thats what it sounds like to me, probibly what the English accent sounds like to you american lot....

Should i feel ashamed, but i understand every word of it! ::)

They should have barnsley traffic controllers, but imagine what the New Doncaster controllers sound like.

" ey up, jus land on't runwey 26 an nip accross road to' gate 3, contact our barry on ground, who will sort ya out wi some drink for ya missus (aircraft), tarar!"

LOL if you need any translations, please ask!

You could try Radar Contact (sorry, I've lost the URL) V3.x. It's nice enough from what could be seen on the site, shame it doesn't make any use of the AI planes though.

I've lost any hope to see the day they publish the promised and never delivered V4 that should have been able to use the AI. Another sad case of Vaporware. :-/
