Aircraft wont start????

Postby YakMad » Thu Jul 21, 2005 8:53 pm

I have an aircraft that when you start FS2004 it is already running when you are on the external view. Now i can fly around no porbs as long as i stay on the external view, but when i go to the cockpit view the engine stalls. All the power is off, everything is off. And then the Aircraft wont start manual or by using CTRL"E". Can anyone enlighten me to what the problem could be and how to rectify it. Thanks heaps

I also have a couple of aircraft that do the same thing. you have to start in cockpit virew then go through the correct start sequence or it won't work. i have a BAe 146 that won't start unless you do this and it also won't start with CTRL+E. You can either change the panel or read the readme file to find out how to start it correctly

FS_Pilot,

Bet that is the Jon Murchison plane with the version 3 panel by Matthias Liebriecht?  That is my favorite aircraft.  And his job in emulating the systems of the plane is great.

His version 2 panel allows autostart sequences.

best,

The aircraft is a Yakovlev-18T. It was from FS2000. i have modified the AIR file and CFG file so the it works properly on fs2004. other than not starting it works fine. So is the problem fixable or do i have to create my own panel.
Thanks Guys
