I'm struggling with Rwy 12 aswell  :-[

I set the plane where I want a hangar, select the hangar in Rwy 12, sync that with FS9, save the file & click 'generate scenery'.

File names have no spaces, just_underscores.

Then go into FS9 (settings/scenery/edit area & add the file to the 'static objects file') & restart FS9.

But when I restart, nothing new shows up. I had VFR scenery installed, but have switched that off aswell.

I'm getting stuck for ideas now - any help would be greatly appreciated - I suspect that it's just a very simple problem that I have missed.

I have installed Microsoft's MSXML4 & Dotnetfx aswell as FSUIPC as instructed.

Cheers,

TSC.

TSC

Are your new files, the *.xml and *.bgl, being saved in the 'scenery' sub folder?

...\Static Objects Library
      \scenery
           yourfile.xml
           yourfile.bgl

If so, and if the 'Static ObjectsLibrary' has already been added to your scenery areas list, FS will automatically 'pickup' the new files the next time you start FS and the scenery should show without having to do any further edit to your Scenery Library.

This assumes that all of the necessary Rwy12 files are already in the ...Static Objects Library\scenery (.bgl's) and ...\texture (.bmp's) folders.

They get automatically saved in:
Image
Hangar_chat being the file name I saved it as.

I can't see a way to change where rwy12 saves my file to when I press 'generate scenery'.

Maybe i'll reinstall the 'Static Objects' folder to FS9 & see what happens there.

TSC

Use the 'file>save as' function to change the save location.

From the Rwy12 tutorial:
[quote]Generate Scenery;
Pressing this button will generate two files; XML and BGL in the folder you chose for the File.
When you use Rwy12 for the first time, and after you chose one or more objects, you will have to decide where to save the files. So before you generate the scenery open the file menu and select
