I personally prefer either Aeroworx's Super King Air B200, or Aerosoft's Dehavilland beaver.  Theres also a freeware beaver I used to love flying a lot too, its somewhere in simviation, just keep looking.

Also, eric dante's twin bonanza (freeware) is also pretty good!
Cheers,
RB

My man of the moment is Rick Piper and his BAC Hunting jet provost ;D

He has his own website called Ricks Paintshop. Do a Google search. ;)

Anything by Milton Shupe and the gang.  Any of the freeware Pilatus PC-12s.  Mike Stone's C-337 is a nice, easy-to-fly plane that I really like.  Most of the Premiere Aircraft Design stuff seems nice too (DH6, DH8, Diamond, and Socata).
300,000 KM/S - Its not just a good idea, its the law.

I Like the Goodyear F2G Super- Corsair #57. I first saw the picture that Kevin has on his answers. I looked and found one for CFS2 .
It works real good in FS2004. (57 was a Goodyear for me )

Your all forgetting the lovely lovely Stearman that we all raved about a couple of months ago:

Check out these recently posted shots of a great Stearman:

& the fantastic Howard 500:

Both are good old fashioned props & sound brilliant.

Cheers,

TSC.
