Little Black Book Needs Organization

Postby t_alexander21 » Mon Jul 18, 2005 1:08 am

hey, again, this just came up to today when I was flying into CYYZ. The controller  assigned me the MANS3 approach, which was all fine and dandy but wasn't in the PSS Airbus MCDU but I knew I had the charts so it wouldn't be a problem...but then I started digging through my little black book which holds all my charts, routes, V1 speeds, etc and realized I have absolutely no organization and need serious help.

So for those out there that have a lot of charts and papers, where and what do you keep them and how do you keep them organized so you don't have to dig through pages and pages?

May I suggest doing as realworld crews do: Have all the requisite charts and plates ready in the flightdeck BEFORE the flight begins.
