Fuel supply

When starting a turbine, the starter is engaged to selected engine, when the N1 reaches it's light off speed, fuel is added at this point.

I was setting up the throttle quad I made which has buttons too.  I cannot find the fuel control assignment for such as engine 1, engine 2...etc as it is with the throttle which is listed as engine 1, engine 2 commands.

I see prop control, mixture control, engine throttle, but no fuel control for turbines.

I'm saying if I want to shut down one engine if it's running already and leave the other one running, or to start one at a time.

Ctrl + E is getting boring to me, I want to be able to start the engine manually.

What is it listed under or am I missing something?

As you get into more realism you might find that you want to investigate the payware version of FSUIPC.  It opens up huge possibilities of accessing stuff that is not easily done any other way.

It is commonly used by simpit builders building throttle quadrants, and overheads.

If I remember correctly, in the fs2004 "Settings" screen you can access individual engine fuel pumps ....you could treat these like HP valve controls for the quadrant.  Not exact... but close.

As I remember when you use a "cold start" on the engines... as opposed to the usual M$ autostart sequence..... you have to perform a number of sequential steps.  I think this differes for each aircraft you might fly.

I know in programming the start for an engine on my BAe 146-200, this includes stuff like setting battery/APU power, master power, start power, fuel pumps, fuel valves, generators, and so on.  The throttles don't do anything unless the other stuff is done first.

I think that you can also do single engine autostart sequences...... you hit the E and the number of the engine you want... and than I THINK it is Control E.... but I am not sure.

I'd suggest frequenting some of the simpit forums here ande elsewhere for some more clues about this.

For a default FS aircraft, with a saitek cyborg evo-

Hit e+2.  Throttle up a bit.  Click AND HOLD engine 2 starter, watch N2.  When it is at 21%, hit ctrl+shift+F4.  Throttle down to idle.  Repeat for engine 1.

Hope that does it.
