My graphics are annoying!

Postby Sambcfc » Thu Jul 07, 2005 12:18 pm

I have only just bought FS 2004 off ebay and obviously have being playing it.
But when im flying, when i chose spot plane view or tower view, the game doesent run that smoothly, it jumps very slightly but it is noticable.
What can i do to make the game run smoothly?

Cheers

Sam

It could be that you are playing the game with the graphics set too high for your system. Does it still happen if you turn graphics down?

sorry to hear about your jumping and stuttering problems Sambcfc..it can be very annoying,,have you tried the latency tweak...if youv'e got a decent card give it a try it worked for me
it's a simple little program easy to use...in the interface you'll see a reference to your vid card and a number that it's set to,, this will probably be 200+ it needs setting to 64....
here's a link to the d/l give it a go you never know ;)

like with any tweak don't expect miracles i still get the odd stutter now and again...but it reduced it dramatically :)

Welcome to the wonderful world of Flight Simming!  ;D  What you are experiencing is the bane of all flight simmers everywhere.  Low Frame Rates.  Post your system specs and perhaps we'll be able to advise you better...  ;)

To get your comp's specs, just right click the My Computer icon in the start menu and select properties.

Okey here is basically what you have if this helps.

Intel Pentium 4 (mabe celeron) 2.6 GHZ Processer
512MB of RAM
Intagraded Graphics.

What would really help with the graphics is go into controol panel then to preformance then click system. When you do that click the hardware tab then the device manager button. Click the display adapter expander and tell us what you have. My guess is the "Intel Extreme graphics controler 900XP" or something along those lines but who knows my friend with an HP got a FX4400 stock.

If you do have intagraded graphics than a simple RAM upgrade costing about $120 (www.newegg.com useing courser XMS RAM) will boost your system and graphics. Any further questions on this I will be happy to explain.
