Eric Marciano F-16 panel question

Hey there.  I just downloaded Kirk Olsson's F-16 addon.  I coppied all the files to the places the guide told me to.  In addition to the F-16, I also downloaded Eric Marciano's F-16 panel.  My question:  How and what do I add to the FS9 file for the panel to work?

I hope I understand your question: I just put Eric Marciano F-16 panel into the aircraft folder and pointed the aircraft.cfg to use it:

title=F-12C Eagle 4
sim=F-15C Eagle
model=
panel=f16m
sound=
texture=x
checklists=

However (it's been a while) does one need a code to make it work? Hmmm.

The most common problem is that the radar doesn't work because you don't have a registered FSUIPC.  Install FSUIPC from here http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and register f16.gau.  The registration code is here http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.p ... 895837fa1d

Danke, that's what I was asking.  Oh, and what is this FSUIPC?  I've heard about it, but am not sure what it is.

The FSUIPC website I pointed you to will tell you what it does better than I can.  To make a long story short, your radar gauge won't work without it.

No, but any panel that uses one of the gauges listed at the second FSUIPC site does.

Please also note that in Kirk's instructions, he recommends getting Eric's F-16 panel BUT, and I repeat........BUT, use his (Kirk's) panel.cfg he provides. If I remember right it is in a seperate folder in the zip file.

Many have gotten Eric's panel and used the first default panel.cfg and had problems. That's because that panel.cfg is for the default installation that Kirk provides. Installing Eric's panel requires a different panel.cfg, which like I said, Kirk also provided.
