You absolutely DO need your antivirus running as your co-pilot if you're flying online.  I'd love to fly with someone who doesn't.

and sorry to give the wrong impression.

Nothing about his post led me to think he was talking about online flying..I just assumed it would be obvious that if you are online doing anything, then your AV is on.. ::)
