what is the closest rate

Postby alrot » Fri Jun 24, 2005 3:54 pm

On air trafic in U.S.A or maybe could be be some kind of standard persentage % In my Country Venezuela when i fly i set into 100% but everytime i cross i for ex:Maiquetia to Miami Flight in as a heavy Jesus :o there are more planes in the sky that cars on the ground,so my machine begins with as usual frame stoping due to it
Wich is the most and realistic percentage to set it in my fs9?

I have mine set at no more than 5% for two reasons....

1) Improve the frame rates dramatically.
2) Stop all the endless radio chatter from zillions of aircraft and air traffic controllers.

If you really want a really nice, quiet flight, reduce it to 0%... 8)...!

Yeah you right Paul, but you know I enyoy to play as a kid  ;D at night i sit starting my 4 engines "747"(i Live alone you know)set it in IFR made all procedures  then suddenly i forget all troubles and problems and get into this game, like a real pilot, some times i keep for 4 or 6 hours flying, trafic help me to leave a bit the reality, hearding other planes conversations it make more realistic when i reach Kenedy int after hours i enyoy, and after i park in the gates,i wake up out of my dream
thats why i consider all flight simulator since 98 not a game,i call it ,domestic simulator,a great tool for as me a fustrating pilot  ;D the best thing for me in PCs
  Cheers

i leave mine at about 20-30%, more than that my pc start to lag, less is too lonely up there ::)

i think that even with trafific at 100%, some areas will still be underpopulated, like central europe or north america... in real life, air traffic is madly intense around those places...

ALROT....!

As you are a "Frustrated Pilot" in desperate need of a "Domestic Simulator" you need one of those lovely Dutch ladies you are so keen on...
You can have as much chatter as you can stand then, with a bit of rumpetty-bumpetty thrown in now and again...
;)...!
LOL...!

Cheers ALROT...!

P.S. haven't you learned your lesson yet from the last time around... ;)... ;)... ;)... ;D...!

Unfortunatly they cost more and you can't turn them off when not in use and difficult to upgrade down the track.

Forget Project AI and UT, if you want, "as real as it gets," join Vatsim and start talking some real ATC jive. But yes, occasionally I will still fly offline using PAI and sometimes there is so much radio chatter I can barely reply the ATC.
