Error reports and what to do with them?

Postby cavity » Sat Jun 25, 2005 8:35 am

My flight simulator has taken prone to complete crashes again, and after finally breaking down and sending MS the error report, I get back that it is a driver of undetermined origin.  Since this has been an on again off again kind of thing, I have no idea what driver may be causing it.  Short of replacing every driver, any suggestions?  The error report usually includes a file mini06252.dmp, or something close to that.  What is that and what is it associated with?  Thanks, Todd

Todd what are your system specs and which OS are you running? Also what does the actual error message say when it comes up?

Hi Ozzy, here are my specs:

Intel Pent 4 at 2.6
1Gig 3200 DDR at 400 MHZ
Radeon 9600 Pro 128 bit
80 Gig WD Hard Drive at 7200 RPM
Windows XP Service Pack 2
Soyo Dragon Plus 2 Motherboard

Error report usually contains the mini06025.dmp, and the specific technical info has various dll file errors from scenery, terrain, or weather.  Todd
