Wow, this topic kind of took off. and thanks everyone for their posts, MattNW hit it right on the head, i have played with MS' version of voice recognition and that just lead to saying the key you want pressed or a special word that you assigned for the key you want pressed. The proplem with all that is obviously the menu for ATC is never the same. So saying "cessna14b traffic in sight" might be option 2 or even 3 or 4. I have signed up with vatsim as well as ivao. This whole project I am doing is for my dad for fathers day. He is a new real pilot and I want him to be able to use MSFS as the real thing, and I want him to be comfortable while using it. (a bit safer and cheaper than learning everything real world). Im not sure if speach buddy can conquer what im trying to do or if it is the same as MS VR. Im going to look into VOXatc directly after writing this post, however it is correct that I want to be able to interact directly with MSFS' ATC

Then there are those like me who would probably get kicked ofdf the VatSim servers because I have very little idea of what to say and when to say it, and most I have heard take it too much like real life and want you to be perfect with everything instead of just enjoying yourself

SaVas: I found the Vatsim controllers friendly and helpful- they go easy if they know you're new. Also, you should know basic ATC after playing FS. :d

That's understandable!

That might be a good idea , but it would be bad for some people because the world has diffrent langages and accents. It will probably be possible in the future since VR is in it stages of devolopment .
