I just don't get the instalation procedure. I have Scenery and Add-on scenery, Which one I wonder. And when it says to "save" does it mean to save by writing it down or save to some other location. I must be getting old; could someone please explane the install procedure in an other way for me? I think It will be great to make my own runway but no luck so far. Thanks,  Wildie

Generally when your computer asks you if you want to save, it's on your computer, not on a piece of paper next to it.

Havent used runway3, but checking the readme.txt file my guess for FS2004 is install to the '...\Addon Scenery\Scenery' folder. If you installed to some other location, simply move the 'runway3.exe' to this folder.

When you run the program

1: "Just land your plane at your desired spot, facing your heading, then press Caps+Z to obtain your Co-ordinates and Altitude and Heading." OK so far.  2: "Make a note of them." Ok.
3: "Save your location."  Where? on paper or my computer? And if on my computer, where?
     This has me stumped, but even more important is where to install the program. when I try, it has a location for FS 2000 ie: C:\FS200\Scenery\. Where should I install it for 2004?  I'l keep on trying untill I get it right  and I hope this note will clear things up. Wildie.

Sounds Good! I'l print your procedure, and give it go. Many thanks for your reply. Also I'l I'l try out that program from a few replys back. (The one where I can put in buildings ect.) Some things that are easy for others can be hard for me to understand. On the other hand some that are difficult for others is easy for me. Wildie.

It's so easy to use...!

I've downloaded and tried "Runway 12"....cant get on with that one at all...too flippin' complicated when all you want is a simple little runway, and nothing else...and that's where "Runway 3" comes in... ... ... ...!
