2 Dumb Questions

Postby Drizler » Mon Jun 20, 2005 7:00 pm

Fs9 with Ch pro pedals and yoke.    How do you go about setting up the pedals so they aren't so twitchy?   The best I could set makes the Cessna wander as bad as the worst real life taildragger.   I found the best was to leave it at defalt which still isn't right, way too twitchy.   Something isnt right there and I can't figure out how to tame the thing.
Where can I download a late model Cessna 150 such as an L or M model?    I want something similar to the L model that I own for all that dumb stuff I won't do for real.       Its a good thing mine doesn't wander like the sim plane or I wouldn't go near the thing.   It reminds me of the time I was hitching a ride in a Cessna 180 and the pilot looked off to the side just as the speed bled off and the tail came down.   Cross country real quick.........................................

For question one, all I could think of, other than finding if you can change it on your pedals, would be to change the aircraft.cfg in the rudder sensitivity.  Change one of the numbers from 1.0000, to something like .50000

As for two, I am unsure if you'll find something as detailed as you want without going payware, but do some searches, of course here, www.avsim.com, www.flightsim.com, or possibly even www.fsplanet.com.

Forgot to add, that there are NO dumb questions when it comes to flight simming as if you dont know the answer, then its not "dumb"

And honestly I dont know the answer either as I dont use the CH products, however the only Cessna I can think of in the 150 range is the Cessna 152 from Flight1.com however its a payware ac

Im not going to yell at him, but FSplanet is not a good place to visit

Well you must realize that all I use it for is to...well take this example.  I'll browse the Simv downloads, and if I don't find anything good, I'll look on fsplanet, and if there's something good there, I'll come back to Simv, and search the same file, as they will usually have it.

Didn't mean to start a commotion.

FSplanet is not to be touched. Avsim and Simviation have nearly every download. Conscience should convict everyone that "knows" that FSplanet is a thieves hole and not to be gone near.

NEVER EVER GO NEAR FSPLANET!
