AUTOPILOT GLITCH?

Postby tennm1980 » Sun Jun 05, 2005 2:28 pm

when i set the ap to on, and set my altitude and ias, when i return to turn autopilot off, the plane goes into a crazy spin, usually crashing into the ground. is this just me, or is this a problem for everyone?

With all airplanes or a particular one?

I've also noticed some wierd 'happenings' as regards to the autopilot, mine sometimes just refuses to turn to the correct headings etc, random stuff like that, no idea what to do about it though...

ok, i havent installed any add-ons yet at all---and i run the program off of the cd's rather than the full install. i have no idea what a *.cfg is. if this makes a difference whatsoever, please let me know. thanks

Very strange problem this is. No previous experience about it will make solution harder.

Try disconnecting the joystick and fly a test flight. See if with the joystick unplugged (and possibly its drivers disintalled) the airplane behaves.
