Postby Brown » Sat Jun 04, 2005 8:30 pm

When flying my A330 I have a seat belt light and no smoking light I always leave the no smoking light when should I turn the seatbelt light off  I assumed it was after I reached crusing alt which for my A330 it is 330 what do real pilots do .

Thanks

after the initial climb the cabin crew are allowed to undo their seat belts and prepare for in-flight services, however for the passengers the seatbelt sign must remain on until your cruising altitude is reached. It must be switched back on when you start decending through 10,000.

Hope that helps,
Echo.
