Changing The Angle of Landing Lights

Postby cyclopian » Sat May 28, 2005 10:36 am

Hello everyone!

First time here, and it's a pleasure to have discovered this enlightening forum!

My question is, how do you tilt the landing lights in FS2004? I tried using the key sequences that they've provided, but all that does is change the external angle of view of the airplane.

any help on this would be surely appreciated!

Unfortunately I haven't a clue... never tried it.  But I am sure that shortly someone who HAS will let you in on the secret.   ;)

Hey John:

Thanks for your reply!   :)

Well it would seem that no one knows how to do this ( or so far anyway)....maybe someone will stumble by with a clue....

Thanks all the same!

CTRL + Shift and NumPad numbers 2,4,6,8.  If that doesn't work, try toggling NumLock.

as far as I know about tilting landgin lights, they only come one SGA aircraft I believe. the action is "tailhok down" (i use Shift + T, but yours may differ or not even programmed)

it may be SGA aircraft, i dont remember. as far as defualt aircraft, no clue.

There's FS commands for moving the lnding lights. I have a hat button on my X-45 mapped to landing lights. Can swing them around like a searchlight with that. Check your assingments in case you have reassigned or assinged something else on top of them but the defaults are what JRoc listed.

Wow! Replies! Replies!  ;D

Hey thanks a lot guys!

In fact it's the default commands I have been trying... to no avail (yes even with NUM LOCK toggling).

However, I got an idea from one of the guys...I should check my assignments...that one I haven't done...even though they should be at the default as I haven't messed with these since I reinstalled my FS about 2 months ago.

Anyway, off I go to check! I will report progress accordingly.

Make sure the num lock is off, then hold down Ctrl and the shift buttons. Then 2 and 8 is up and down and 4 and 6 are left and right.

check ? alrighty then
