waterzone

This issue might have been brought up before.

I now have a GeForce 6600GT, so I downloaded waterzone. It looks spectacular up close, but when looking out over a distance at the water, the entire ocean seems to flash, like all of the waves crest at the exact same moment. So, is there something wrong, or is it always like that?

I'm using waterzone with a similar problem, when I get too high (Probably over FL100) I get a huge chunk of nice looking water underneath me and a few miles out it turns quite horrible and is separated by ugly squares.

I changed to the highest graphic settings (which run well on my system) and it has helped...I still get the uneven switch between to textures but it happens alot further away so it's not as noticable.

Hopefully soon with RAID 0! :D

I know what you mean, a black flash. I think I've just convinced myself to be content with it.
Lemoncat made it btw. :)
