Unable to undock window

Postby tintinrad » Mon May 30, 2005 4:05 pm

Hi everyone !!

I have installed a lot of add-ons and other things ,
a few weeks ago, i could undock the windows and
carry them to my TV (video card is OK) but recently,
when i tried to undock a window, the UNDOCK was
and still is greyed and i can't do nothing to move my window to my TV

Has anyone ever seen that prob. ???

Thanks !!!

Sounds like maybe your vid card drivers got corrupted.

Try reinstalling your drivers and see if this corrects the problem.

Thank you for the reply!

My card (drivers) is ok, but in flight, i open , let's say
spot view , then i right-click, but my UNDOCK feature
is grey (Non-usable)

I would think it is a FS problem  ???

Undock will grey out if you do not have FS9 open in windows mode (right alt+enter). I notice that sometimes for no reason, mine defaults to full screen mode and then it is not possible to drag stuff over to my second monitor.
Sorry if this does not answer your question, but it is the first thing I would check. Noboby has mentioned it, and it is the simplest thing to go wrong. K.I.S (keep it simple)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
