Missing Gauges

I recently downloaded the Airbus 340 Opensky aircraft. It has the Luftansa livery. There were two models included (VC and WW) It also included two panels (.VC & .WW)  However, there were no gauges in the panel. The folder did not included a separate gauge file. I'm sure some of you have down loaded it from SimViation. Any suggestion how I can install the appropriate gauges?

And it doesn't use default gauges?

No default gauges whatsoever. There were nothing but holes in the panel where the gauges are suppose to be.

Where did you download the file? The only Posky A-340 in Lufthansa livery I can find at SimV is posted here.* http://www.simviation.com/fs2004jets110.htm Sorry, I'm not going to download a 47 Mb file just to check it out. I find it difficult to believe that a file that size doesn't include everything but the kitchen sink.

Hagar:

That was the file - all 47M of it.  I'd fly it with the kitchen sink superimposed on the panel. Better than seeing a bunch of holes. Come to think of it for the 47M file, they could've included a tootbrush and a vacuum cleaner. If no joy, I'd just delete it - perhaps salvage the sound and the texture.

I finally managed to access the Posky site & you can download the gauges for the DVC here. http://www.projectopensky.com/downloads.php?aircraft=s6bv5&location=basepackage

Hope this helps.

All required gauges are in there ....

??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Pete:

If you're talking about the FS9 gauges, I know. But please pray tell which ones  belong to what since I believe many of the gauges are used by more than one aircraft. but thanks anyway.

I assume Pete means there's a Gauges folder included with the download that contains all the required gauges. Make sure you pasted the complete contents into FS9\Gauges.

Did you try my link for the DVC gauges?

There is no need to get anything for that aircraft from anywhere. It's an inclusive package.

ALL required gauges are in the zip file

After unzipping you see 3 folders

Gauges
Aircraft
Effects

You are probably looking in the Airfcraft Folder & seeing no gauges.

As Doug said - Open the Gauges folder & move all contents into the main Gauges folder in FS2004.

Hagar:   Thanks for the tip. I downloaded the gauge file in accordance with the accompanying instruction. It added some gauges around the center of the panel but there were four large quare blank holes which remained unfilled. I guess this as as good as it will get. Thanks again.
