Doors won't open

Postby bcstover » Tue May 24, 2005 1:08 pm

For some reason, the open doors function (shift+e)doesn't work for me.  Does the cap lock have to be on?  Could I have changed some other key assignment that would have negated this function.  Shift+e starts engines OK, and Shift+d shuts them down.  Help, I'm locked in my plane!

Try Shift - E - 1 (for door #1).  Shift - E - 2, etc. for others.

or maybe you have to enable the key. go to settings and click control and then click assignments or something like that. And then loock for the specific action.

It could be your assignment got changed, just go into your settings and check what the assignment is to open the doors...and like the others have said Shift+E is the default........ ;D

Does the cap lock have to be on?

Wouldn't that be redundant?     ;)

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

It happens.  You didn't do anything wrong, it just happens every now and then(has to me, it crops up for no reason whatsoever).  It's an FSism.  A restart should clear it up.
