Another P3 Orion Problem

Postby expat » Wed May 18, 2005 4:57 am

So, first gauge problem fixed, now to the next.
Ran the installer, all looks fine untill........
Have I missunderstood the description on the Orion homepage, I was expecting a virtual lcockpit. All I am getting is a 2d cockpit and no other views. Not even look left or right in 2d cockpit. In VC mode and 2d left and right, all I get is the outside view with, well nothing.
Anyone got any ideas? Will using the installer exe to a new folder and then manually install make any difference?

Thanks
Matt

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I get the VCs if I select one of the variants with the VC.

Don't know what is happening with yours. Should be there.

Problem I find is that some of the acft. textures will quite displaying after a bit in external view. Too nice a looking acft. to have this happen.

Might need a little rework by the author. Time will tell.

And the moral of this story is:
1.read
2.open your eyes
3.pay attension to what you are waving your mouse at.
And 4..........All works as advertised.
Thanks Fireman

That's the AFG Pilatus PC-12

It looks that way for me too.  It's just the way it is (freeware is like that sometimes)...

I still like it...in spite of all ;)

In AFG's readme, they go through how to add that...they leave it out by default because of fps issues...
