Unable to steer during Taxing

Postby chief1995 » Fri May 13, 2005 2:21 pm

All of a sudden I am unable to steer my aircraft when taxing ,with my yoke as I have always done. I have checked all my assingments, settings etc.
Reset my CH yoke and I still have the same problem.
Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chief

I imagine you've checked both of these, but just in case:
Make sure that "autorudder" is enabled.
Also, if you're trying to fly a tail-dragger, the yoke won't work to steer.

Yes Mark, auto-rudder is enabled, and I have the problem with all aircraft  :'(

...mmm....when things suddenly change and to ALL aircraft, I first of all try a new Fs9.cfg by deleting the one I have and starting up the Sim to generate a brand new one................commoner ;)

In case you don't know where it is, for Windows XP then the path is like this......C/Documents and Settings/Owner/Application Data/Microsoft/FS9.

Thank you all, the problem was in the auto-pilot. It didn't show to be on but, I turned on and back off and presto the problem was fixed.
Special thanks to Moach! But all suggestions appreciated!

...If you want to permanently stop the Autopilot from switching on the wing leveller, which ,as Moach pointed out, is what happened in your case.........Add the following lines in the Autopilot section of the aircraft.cfg file for EACH airpcraft you want to change :

use_no_default_bank=1
use_no_default_pitch=1

...commoner ;)
