Airport gates

Postby SA380 » Thu May 12, 2005 7:01 am

Hello guys, i have alot of my fs04 addons from this lovely forums :D i have alot of scenery for united kingdom as i live there but when i fly ibizia mallorca, mardid, orlando e.t.c. its all the basic crapy scenery, i have the addon where the package replaces the runways and taxiways to make them more realisitc but i was thinking if there was anything to inprove the gates (and get them to move) push back trucks on pc planes and better pcs planes like have british airways pc planes and aaa e.t.c. and moving vechialees on the ground at the airport.
(**FOR FREE**)

Hope Someone can piont me in the right direction.

Regards
Mathew.

Put simply, M$ are the biggest liars.
There are no extending gates, but if you type something like that into our Simvo search, youll find something.
Try WorldMesh (the whole thing). That should help with the other shitty scenery.

...Have a look here.....moving gates etc at LEPA.

Planes galore at Project AI and the World mesh here at Simv. You might have to register for the LEPA download........commoner. ;)

Should try ISD project Rome Fiumicino here
http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=Rome&CatID=fs2004scen&Go=Search

There are marshallers and moving trucks and buses too. The jetways move too if you tune Nav2 to a certain frequency. ISD project have a few prize winning sceneries on their own site.

The closest thing I have seen is a program called real cvg it actually has a built in guidance system at some of the gates for each type of aircraft it comes with a it is real slick but you stiil do not see the gate move but the guidance system is awesome. Sorry I do not rember where I got this from. 8)

Matthew, the ISD project page is here
http://isdproject.flightsimmer.com/scenari_eng.htm There's a whole section devoted to installing their scenery. I have to give those Italians 100% for their work.

If you're looking for a general airport upgrade, search "AEU" over at avsim and get the newest one you can find.  It's a general texture replacement.
