I reckon the FS weather is actually pretty good, I had to deadstick a Moth in Germany in bad crosswinds and landed bang on the end of the runway, then got blown onto the grass :o ;D :-[

Realistic.  I think if they were to model in something like wind shear, you'd get it on EVERY landing...sorta kills the enjoyment.  lol

FS9 is able to simulate windshear. I happened to meet windshear while landing at least three times while I was virtually touring the world.

After all to simulater windshear the simulator have to simulate layers of wind, and FS9 is able to do that.

It isn't able to (and i'd like to see it implemented) simulate a tornado, as others have tried unsuccessfully to get into one, but windshear (if youre unlucky) can get you all right. ;D
