F-16 Viper panel

After installing outstanding Viper by Kirk Olsson my panel is not displayed correctly. Except Mach indicator and 4 push buttons (GPS, radio, map, com) I have pure black screen. Can anyone suggest some corrections? PS Similar problems also with F-14 Tomcat cockpit - non functioning indicators, they are just black.

Did you download and install the panel?

If not, (re-)read the 'Viper Setup Guide.doc' that comes with the Viper.

As I recall that's the Eric Marciano F16 panel



If so, it will work if installed correctly.

That acft. can get confusing. Kirk's readme docs. are good, but lots of info.

Basically, you need the acft., which you got. Kirk includes a panel but he recommends gettings Eric Marciano's F-16 panel.

Download that panel, BUT use the panel.cfg that Kirk includes. If I am not mistaken, it is a different panel.cfg located in a seperate folder.

Still have problems after that is done, then come back and we will go from there.

I've had alwyas the same problem, and I'm not sure what can be possibly wrong, made the install 4 times, maybe something is missing dunno, maybe I'll try again....

Thought I was the only one....

foooooooooo..............Many have had problems with that bird. Shame, because it is one of my favs. I have even fixed up my panel, redid some of the effects, different afterburners and love it.

Several pilots have emailed me I have helped them get that bird installed, with my effects or without, panel and got their radar working when they were having problems with that.
