fixes for fs2k6

Postby N723GW » Sat May 07, 2005 8:53 pm

i was thinking about it, and i couldnt find the origonal thread.
I wish FS2K6 had clearances to your alititude...i.e."

"Landmark 221, you are cleared to the Buffalo airport as filed, climb and maintain 7,000, expect flight livel 350 within 10 minutes of departure...."

instead of

"Landmark 221, you are cleared to the Buffalo airport as filed, climb and maintain 7,000...."

any ideas?
Life is like an airplane...you can only go one way. Straight. You can't throw it in reverse, you can't parallel park. One way only.

It might sound better, but it wouldn't really change how fast you got your clearance up to FL350. In just about every high-alt flight I've flown in FS, as soon as you reach the assigned altitude you get cleared up another notch, so just set the autopilot 300 feet high and you'll have time to change it before the plane starts leveling off.

Or is that not what you were getting at?

Well, another ATC-related thing I learned a few months back in RL, ATC reads back your entire route for an IFR clearence.  Would be cool if they did that as well.

I would like to see detailed everything...Moving jetways, FSPainters style AI, easy update AI plans, all the ground equipment, more realistic weather, the many missing landmarks (great wall...etc) CORRECT TIMEZONES (flying VA flights I'm left to do all the adjusting myself before I can submit my PIREPs)

And the list goes on.

But I really want all this to be old style, meaning it will accualy run smoothly and all details full, on the specs they list...not say it will run and even with all settings low you get a slide show >:(

2k2 and 2k4 are the 2 hardest to please flightsims in terms of system.  When 2004 cant even be maxed out on most systems available right now then why come up with a 2006 that no one can afford to buy sence they will need major computer upgrades. ::) :-/

A little idea i had during a multiplayer session.
Usually you need exactly the planes your friends are flying
installed to see them correctly on your PC.
Would be a cool (optional) function if you could choose
before you join a multiplayer session wich aircraft you want
to assign to each session member if you haven
NFo/Simviation Multiplayer Server.
