The Howard 500 is a freeware work of art; might be a bit fast for you, but it's very cool. 8)

EDIT: Silly me forgot there was a page two! :P
You'll be happy with the 337. I've taken it on semi longish hops and shes a great bird. Great STOL abbilities as well!
Good luck and make sure to post plenty of screenshots! :)

A DHC-6 Twin Otter maybe, you got your turbo props for some extra speed and you can land in the bush if you want to  :)

After you have successfully up-loaded your pic to Simviation...
when you have typed your text, click in the little picture in the YABB tags, the one to the left of the envelope!

you will get the following:

{img}URL{/img}...

Where it say"URL", delete it, and replace it with the following:

http://www .simviation.com/yabbuploads/yourpic.jpg
...DONT include the space after the www(), that has been included for clarity!

It will now appear as:
{img}http://www. simviation.com/yabbuploads/yourpic.jpg{/img}

"yourpic" will be the name of your screen-shot typed EXACTLY as you uploaded it!!!
when you are ready, click on "Preview" to check that everything is OK...!

Try it... ;)...!

No

You're also using a system that capitalises the JPG

So change your line to

[ img] http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/002001.JPG[/img]

But leave out the space I've put in front of the first img

Then it becomes

Are you sure that the spelling of your downloaded picture is exactly the same as the spelling in your uploaded picture....NO SPACES! upper-case/lower case,...is it a .jpg/.JPG/.gif/.GIF file type...?

Paul.

...it should be easy... ;)...!

P.S. You beat me to it Roger... ;)... ;D...!

if you want a single engine, Try some payware Flight1 stuff.... I'm currently in a across the USA flight to see everything, flying over russia cant be that bad.... just dont have the thought of, I want this done ASAP.... aint gonna happen  ::)..... Get something without AP.... and your good to go.... Gunnerman and I are using the Carendo Piper Cherokee 180F its fairly decent and does about 10k no problems. Just pick 1 plane, stick with it, fly that flight in a few hundred short 100NM hops manually and you'll get done  :) Cheers, Hope this helps, Gunny

I like that 337; great choice of plane.  I may have to switch over to that.  Another good possibility is the Aerocommander 500 or 680.  Still haven't decided myself; the 172 would be fun just because of the challenge.

Those are great screenshots.

The commander 680 is a wonderful plane. She handles like a dream, and great for long hauls. The only thing that makes her better than the 500 is that the engines are super/turbo charged (dont remember wich, same effect anyway) and shes a little faster.
