you could replace the gauges in the VC with those in this panel of yours with some very simple panel.cgf editing

when you install the panel, do not delete the original panel .cfg file, do this:
put the original panel.cfg somewhere safe
install your panel to the pane folder, let it overwrite whatever necessary (you may want to backup the old gauges first)
open the new panel.cfg
now, open the OLD panel.cfg
copy the [VCockpit] sections from the old file and paste them to the bottom of the new file (this way, the gauges won't dissapear from the DVC)
now note the list of gauges in the sections you've copied
if you scroll to the top of the file you'll find a list of the gauges of the new panel
find the gauges that correspond to the ones in the vcockpit list you've copied and replace them with the new ones
i.e. if you want the new HSI gauge to be displayed in the VC, copy its name from it's entry in the new panel's list and put it in the old HSI gauge entry in the Vcockpit list

DO NOT change the position values of the gauges (those 4 numbers after the gauge name) or the gauge numbers, (the "gauge01="number befor the name) just the name of the gauges located between those two

hope this helps, glad to hear you like my plane
