Question

Please tell me there is a way to turn the beacon and nav lights on Via a switch say on a joystick and what not all i could find was the strobe and Landing lights. THanks in advance for your help. OH also is there a way to turn the starters only on via a switch i have the igition and start switches set now i need the starters only. THanks

Do you own a versoin of the FSUIPC?

If so you can map about anything to anything..

Also have you looked at the assignments page and tried to do it from there? you oughta be able to assign some stuff through the assignments page...

But I could be totally wrong here.. happens all too often...

To assign a button on your joystick to start your engines just go into Settings -> Assignments  -> & then scroll down to 'engine autostart' & click on 'change assignment, then you just press whichever button on your just joystick that you want to start the engines with & then click 'ok' - easy peasy.

Whilst your at it, why not set up another button to control your 'engine auto shutdown' - thats always cool at the end of a flight.

....yeah that is handy tsc...but don't put it where you could hit it accidentally......I have the TAB key for shut down and it seems to work just great......what a nice feeling it is to hit that after a long difficult flight, and hear the "sound of silence"....commoner

With the sort of aircraft I fly....I just pull the Mixture knob out to "Weak Cut-Off" to stop the engine(s)...LOL...!

OK i Dont liek that auro start and auto shut down so that is out of the question. and i have the CH throttle quadtrant. So if i want to shut down the engines i just pull the Condition levers to cut off.  and i have two swites Assigned Starter and igition, now that wrokes find i hold it up and once The ITT reaches 12 % I add the fuel and so fourth.

now but my question is can i assign the down side of the  switch to the starter only Say if it hot starts or wht ever. so i can motor the engine. Also i have checked the assigment keys and the only light assiganble are the strobe and the landing lights. FSUPIC that made that paywear now right?
