You don't need to set a framerate to play multiplayer...

If you're asking how to improve performance in multiplayer, there really isn't one fix that works for everyone.  If you're experiencing some jumpiness, just back off your sliders while you're in multiplayer until you get the result you're looking for.

cheers scottler it just says when in multiplayer mode using team speak to make sure frame rates are fixed to 20fps

oh oh oh I gotcha....I see what you're asking.  In your display settings, there's a slider for "Framerate Lock" or something worded similarly to that.  Set it at 20.
