FS2004 SCENERY EDIT

Postby kuemmsc » Thu Apr 14, 2005 7:56 am

I have a local airstrip depicted in FS2004, however it shows a non-existent building off the end of the runway. Does anyone know how I can edit out this building?

kuemmsc,

Hi and welcome to SimV.

You need to get a freeware scenery design program like "Airport" or "FSSC" which allows you to place an "exclusion" polygon on the ground.

Find a little program called 'Exclusion Builder.'  It makes exclusion areas a snap to do.  I'll upload my copy here...

Many thanks to Both John and Kevin, who provided similar advice.  I'll give it a shot.

Steve,

No problem.  At least it isn't ON the runway like some I have found.   ;)

best,
