Stupid Taxis!

Postby jb2_86_uk » Thu Apr 14, 2005 5:57 am

Has anyone else noticed the ridiculous taxi routes ATC handout on arrival? I landed at New Tokyo Intl, requested taxi to the gates, and was directed from one corner of the airport right to the other! Must have been taxiing for over 15 minutes! And to rub it in, out of the 50 or so gates I went past, only about 3 of them had an ac in! how annoying! Feel like going back to the good ol' days of '98 when you just parked wherever the heck you wanted!

There's but one real cure for human stupidity. It's called DEATH.

At the moment mourning the assassination of sarcasm and irony for the good of the "higher".

Thats probably a good idea! I'm a sucker for progressive taxi though! I am trying to learn all the taxi ways of my local airports, then will try the big hubs such as JFK, LA, London etc. Im still getting lost at Manchester EGCC though, so I may be a while!
