Hmmm...nope, not buying it....my Mac is at least as fast as my (higher cpu rated) PC...yes, too damned expensive by comparison, most people really couldn't justify the expenditure...but from experience I find no support for the idea that the mac is slow. Just ain't so. I've heard this ever since I first got invovled with computers; "Macs are slow! Macs can't do math!".  It's like an urban legend

Like I said, to each his own. I use 'em both. As for speed, I really can't choose between them and the Mac is definitley more reliable. Lots of software for the PC, which is nice, but even then there's only so much software I want or need. It is nice to have all the selection though.. I like them both.
