How do you get out and walk around the plane w/ Active Camera?

press X while in VC.

I hate to sound like a noob, but what is active camera? I cant find anything about it in the FS Learning Centre, and doing what skittles suggested has no effect for me! Is this just an alternative way of refering to the 'spot' view?

It's a payware program that lets you move around a lot more than the limits of the default VCs let you. For example you can only move back into the cabin so far before the sim won't let you move any more in stock config. Active Cam lets you go where ever you want, even do walkarounds and such on the ground.

Ahh..you should change your ways of thought...once you go payware you can't go back...you'lll learn that what FS has to offer isn't to realistic...alteast for jets

Try this one then. It's similar but doesn't have all the features that AC does but it's free. Don't worry about the page it's on. It works with all aircraft. You don't need the ATR. Of course if you do get an urge for payware then check the ATR out. It's an awesome airplane.

Followed steps in manual, but it doesnt seem to work when i use the num pad keys (yes , its on)

Though active camera is payware with the demo you can use all the features, u just have to stay in Seattle. Thats what i do ;D, I don't by payware anyway ( just get given it for free to review!) lol
