How about a full 64 bit version compatable with the latest graphic boards.
Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe
Intel I7 3770K w/ Corsair H100
Thermaltake Level 10 GT

I think it needs to be more framerate friendly. The recommended system as per Microsoft's website is
Windows PC
2000/XP

I don't know if it is the framerates...... or the "minimum specs" that need addressing.   ;)  The minimums specified are laughable given what we all now know about the demands of the fs2004 program.

I think Microsoft made a mistake in trying to keep the minimums unrealistically low so as to not affect potential sales at initial offering time.  What I think they accomplished instead was  to "tick off" a lot of people with unrealistic performance expectations.

Bottom line.... to get good framerates with this current sim all set up on max takes a very good machine.  And I expect that the NEXT version will take a generation MORE hardware punch to accomplish flyable rates with all the "goodies" that the market is expecting / demanding.

Start saving your pennies.   ;)

best,

for FS2006, I have d/l a fleet load of a/c for fs2004, i would like to see more compatibility between fs2004 and fs2006.

the inflight refuel would be awesome, when flying cross-country with a F-14 or F-18 would be cool to highten my skills as a pilot.

the birdstrike would be cool too, doesn't happen as often, but it can.

when i use my UPS 727, it adds to the effect with the cargo trucks loading.

for the military base, more Military looking bases...military bases in fs2004 look like normal airports :o

the unplanned emergencies sound AWESOME!!!

also, if you are playing with a buddy, it would be cool for him/her to be your co-pilot or REO(for Super Hornets and F-14's or trainer a/c)

I was at a cross for more realistic themes and better graphics, as better graphics brings on what should be better themes, i'm heading that way.  Overall, the biggest thing that I've noticed in FS, is that with good framerates, it adds so much reality to the game.  Unfortunately, for all of us with average computers, you sacrafice graphics for frame rates, so it's all cancelled out.

Shadows would definitely help, and just to show it, do a flip in a jet and watch the shadows upon the aircraft.  Also, the shadows on the ground are sub-par.  Not to rant or anything.

I have quite a few of Military and Civilian A/C, and some of them have the fuel dump spout already on the A/C, can we see about having it where we can actually fuel dump when on approach?  that would be quite realistic and cool ;D

Being a helicopter pilot i would like to see more adventures involving rotory wing aircraft. Eg; water bombing, sling loads etc  & ATC with options to land and takeoff from helipads. All in a framerate friendly package.

The map view is very nice to check your position and the navigation and airport facilities around. The cursor on to get frequencies and bearings for ILS is very handy  The pity is that it pause the flight which break the "atmosphere" of flying.
I remember that FLY! had a map view coming as transparent layer
I know the GPS is there but it needs more training and skill to handle these GPS than to fly  a Concorde

Approch charts loaded in the F10 tablet would be great.

On another note, Landing stats would be cool. Impact force, distance from threshold, distance from centre line, difficulty factor (based on weather and visibility). That would be really nice... Like - wow I got a 9.5 landing... wooohoo etc.

Could be nice to have such evaluation available for all flight aspects. (Max and min speed, following the flight planing etc)

Simple little thing : some info about panel items appears when you place the mouse cursor on good. PLEASE add the keyboard shortcut to this info. Even better: a right click menu to change ior simply add a keyboard shortcut .

While we are about keyboard. If you use something else than a US qwerty keyboard, it is a big mess: sometimes you have an indication with the layout maching your language and sometimes it stay stuck to the native qwerty.

What about having these values linked to the keyboard you have set in Windows (OK it needs to make a MS to MS compatibility, not that easy, I understand... )

Whole we are about country issues, BIG BRAVO to crocker and  Brown for regional accent in ATC !!!
It would really make the instructions easyer to understand  while flying over France...
And for the fun I would apreciate instructions in French with Londoner, Scottish or Texan accent as well ;D

I want:
An espresso machine in the cockpit of every plane.
Stewardesses (Stewardi?) dressed as French maids.

I bring alll my warm support to the suggestion above about the stewardess,  please make the dressing with user settings  ::)
Don't bother about expresso machine, one more complicated stuff to handle... , the stewardess will bring the coffee...  :-/

Okay here goes:

1) Better ATC
2) Improved graphics and detail
3) Improved standard aircraft with complete modelling of flight controls, including FMCs and weather radars
4) Helicopter accomodation in the form of helicopter AI, parking etc.
5) Improved flight dynamics
6) More FS capabilities to allow room for the creativity of 3rd party developers, such as thrust vectoring etc.

I'm okay with the rest. Of course a face-lift here and there could never hurt...  ;)

OK for the flight attendent Scottler. Sorry for my poor English. It is indeed important to call the person with their right title.

But you got the idea anyway  ;D
